Genetics Incomplete Penetrance

I am studying genetics from Kaplan 2011 book with video lecture by prof. vernon..
here at page 310 INCOMPLETE PENETRANCE making me crazy
at page 311 book says some calculations which I cant understand...
so what u guys think of it?

Incomplete penetrance means that the disease does not always manifest itself in the affected generations.
