Default Around 2 months left

Hi guys,

I have a little less than 2 months left exactly until my step 1. My goal is to get an ambitious 250 (but realistically, I'd be happy with a 230+ score). Here's what I have done so far:

1) FA: going through this a third time in the last 6 mo. I have annotated this with material from DIT videos, Pathoma videos/guide, some goljan.

2) UW: I have done around 50% of it so far first pass. I am getting around 60% to 70% on each block.

My plan now is to:
1) Keep going through FA 2014 chapter by chapter.
2) Memorize detailed things such as biochem pathways, drugs, difficult concepts (cardiac AP, MI evolution, etc.).
3) Keep doing UW questions and do it again once over a second time.
4) Take practice NBMEs at least 3 tests/week until test date?
5) Practice using other QBanks if time?

What are your thoughts and advice? Will doing above get me close to a 250 score if I study hard every day for 2 months? Do I need to create a 'formal' study plan like on an excel file? If so, any great sample study plans currently out there?

Thanks

I think since you've already done FA twice and half of UWorld, now would be a good time to take an NBME to gauge your progress. Remember to do one every 2 weeks and towards the end of your exam, every 3-5 days (depending on how many you have left.)

You'll then find out what you weak points are.

Hi guys,

sorry if this is a noob question, but how can I take the NBME exams?

Also, what is 'access' as mentioned by the above post?

Thank you

You buy it from here: https://nsas.nbme.org/home

costs $60 per exam if you're getting the extended feedback
