Please tell me which of the books listed here I have to read?
Also those books which I read during 1st n 2nd year of medical school or only these review books?

The books listed in this poll
http://www.usmle-forums.com/usmle-st...iew-books.html
do not have to be read all, you can just choose the winning book in that poll and use it to prepare for USMLE Step 1.

It's generally recommended that you read USMLE-specific books rather than your textbooks in med school.

Exactly. Although it may feel like Kaplan does not have enough info (it happened to me), you'll soon understand that it's as much as you need. Although for a few subjects you'll have to do other books. Eg BRS for physiology, HY for neuroanatomy and Goljan for Patho.
