New York Best Prometric centers in NYC

I am trying to book a test date for my Step 1 exam within the NY city area (closest to the Bronx at least by the train station) and I was wondering if anyone who had taken the exam in any of the following prometric centers can comment on your overall exam experience on test day (e.g. level of comfort for you, is there overcrowding at center, quietness/noisiness at the site)?

I learned that one can bring a soft earpiece along, or are they going to provide noise-canceling headphone (which of the two is better?). Please include the hour of your testing (was it very early or late in the morning hrs or in the afternoon). I'm looking forward to your responses.

Thank you very much!

Here are the centers I am looking into:

1) 675 THIRD AVENUE
SECOND FLOOR
NEW YORK, NY 10017

2) 1 PENN PLAZA
SUITE 1540
NEW YORK, NY 10119

3) 1 PENN PLAZA
17TH FL, SUITE 1728
NEW YORK, NY 10119

4) 2975 Westchester Ave
Suite 112
Rye, NY 10577

Default Prometric centers in NYC ??

Hi! Great question!! I have the same question except I am looking to book my test in Manhattan. From what I understand the Prometric centers in Manhattan only have time available in the morning....

Can someone from this great forum help us out and give your opinion if you took the test in one of the centers listed above??

Thank you all!
