According to some review, it should be 4 hours in total, 1 taking the exam and 3 correcting it... , but i think 4 - 5 in total is fine. of course, it comes with time.. at first i was day and half to get all the way...

This might help
How many USMLE World Step 2 CK Qbank Questions per day?

Although it's about USMLE World for the CK, but you can get an idea from it.

Hi Maithri,

the info u provided is not enough to help you to the fullest, but i will try to answer your question by assuming that you have just started doing uw.

doing one block of 46 q's per day is sufficient for first few days of your preparation.
number of blocks to be done per day after you get used to doing the questions online, depends on few factors like
-when you are going to take your step1,
-how many months of uworld have you subscribed
-how many hours are you studying per day
-most importantly how many q's you can comfortably do and review them perfectly.

if you are a beginner, and have ample time for preparation, then, start doing one block per day with ''perfect review'', preferably in tutor mode.

after a few days, try increasing it to two blocks per day in timed mode. it approximately takes 4 hours per block (1hr for doing questions and 3hrs for reviewing). as you keep doing q's, after few days, you will automatically take lesser time for reviewing than you take in the beginning.

make a note of your weak areas. after doing the q's go through those weak topics (from the study material you use and first aid). by doing so you can reinforce your knowledge.

also dont worry if you get low scores in the beginning. it happens with everyone. one has to do mistakes during preparation, so as to avoid doing mistakes in the real exam.

hope it helped you. study well.

All the best for your preparation, and Good luck for your exam.
