Default Wednesday July 16th step 1 results thread

Hi every one. Last week we had an interesting thread for July 9th results. It was a unique experience because it was the assessment sample for the new exam questions pool. Mine and many others expected the results on July 9th, but it was up to exam takers on June 20th. For those who gave the exam from June 21st, please join the club. All the best for everyone. Please let's know if the link for your exam permission disappeared. 👍👍☺☺

Hi mate. Yes, if the link completely disappeared, probably your results will be this Wednesday ☺

Got my result today, gave the exam in 24th of June. Got 223.
Prep time: about 4 months.*
Finished a PhD degree in March, YOG 2005, married with 2 kids ☺☺
Materials: mostly FA and UW (one time finished in the exam week)
NBME 15: 220, one week in.*
I mentioned this information to tell younger folks they can do much better than me indeed both for the prep and the score.*
I'm looking for pathology residency, so I took the exam in expenses of the score. Have 3 months internship in Mass General Hospital, and a research post in the university of Chicago.
Wish you all the best and hope your dreams come true in Sha Allah.*

I think you are US-IMGs ( GC holder), many programs require YOG < 5 years but I think you can find some programs don't care about that. In my opinion, you have a chance to match in IM residency if you get a good score in step 2 ck.

Thank you for giving me some ray of hope

I am a very old graduate and have no USCE. Should I start preparing for step 2 CK now or get some field experience before taking it ?

What is the best way of getting US clinical experience? Is it observership or research ?

Thanks again
