Angry So mad, I don't understand biostats

Guys, how can I understand biostatistics, I have watched kaplan videos and read lecture notes, but i just don't understand probability and other stuff if i see a different questions? How do you guys do it? I am so mad and wonder why don't I understand it?

Same here man Just try to get the general idea and even if you can do half the questions right, I think its ok. There aren't many stats questions in the test maybe 5-6 or max 10, so it won't make that much of a difference . Just try to do the other topics really well. It takes a lot of time in understanding stats if you don't have an idea of stats previously, so use that time for the other subjects. Thats what I think . Best of luck with your prep

Hmmm..is there a topic in particular you don't understand? May be I can help with that..but if it's biostatistics in general....do lots and lots of questions. Its more of a thinking process. I think most of the questions are about NPVs/PPVs/Sensitivity/Specificity..if you can get that right then I think u should be alright

Yes i tried hard in sensitivity and specificity and now finally I get it . I just started a thread on stats tests and scales. I need your help in that! Thanks a lot

i find probablity concept hard .. i find it difficult when they ask me the same question but asked differntly...anyways but i have somewhat grasped the screening tests. they are doable.
