Show Teeth Novobiocin & Optochin sensitivity tests

Cocci gram (+)

Novobiocin just count the # of S in the beginning of the word (must be equal)
S. epidermidis Sensitive = # of "S" = 2
S. Saprophyticus resistent = # of "S" = 2

Optochin just count the # of V (must be equal)
S. pneumoniae sensitiVe = # of "V" = 1
S. Viridans resistent = # of "V" = 1

this works for me

btw, using the total # of S also works
S. epidermidis Sensitive = total # of "S" = 4
S. Saprophyticus resistent = total # of "S" = 4
