Wink White Ramus Vz Grey Ramus

"You need to have a white paper before you can write in Grey pencil inside it"

This will help us remember that the white ramus communicans contains the preganglionic 'before' sympathetic nerve and is myelinated and lateral 'surrounding'.

While the grey ramus communicans contains the postganglionic 'after' nerve and is unmeylinated and medial 'inside'.
