Kids Child Language Development Mnemonic

I have a mnemonic for that
2 year child can speak 2-words sentences and 100-300 (2 zeros) vocabulary
3 year child can speak 3-words sentences and over 1000 (3 zeros) vocabulary

To improve the language development skills in kids, parents role is very crucial. If your child successfully says a word and pronounces it correctly, repeat that word a few times again to help your child to understand it even better.And encourage Bedtime Stories!!

I found best visual method of learning development was in the book "Haikais in Pediatrics". It is pretty comprehensive and hard to forget once learned that way.
