Thumbs Up beh. sci: mnemonic gen. anxiety disorder - here it is

What are the Sxs of generalised anxiety disorders?
Think of the song of a cricket gadfly chirping almost everyday of the week.
"Cri Cri" Mon and Tuesdays Fridays, but also on Saturdays

Generalised anxiety disorder can be abbreviated as GAD (like gadflies)
what do gadflies do? they pose novel or upsetting questions and are irritable
so the sxs of GAD involve
Concentration loss (C) :sorry:
restlessness (R)
irritability (I)
muscle tension (Mon & Tue)
fatigue and (Fri)
sleep disturbance (Sat)

Ya enjoy this? Then just say yes, or simply .. press thank you below...

Thumbs Up Beh. Sci: how to treat GAD

Benzodiazepines and buspirone - think of mercedes and bus - these make
whirr and wuzz sounds

SSRIs - what more needs to be said?

Now consider all 4 sounds together in concert -
CRi Cri!
Whirr..
Wuzz.
SSRI?

You've just conducted a Cri'rWusser Acapella performance!

Ya like? - then hit that snooze eh thank you button!
