Default Best Neuroanatomy Book for USMLE Step 1

In this thread we vote for the Best Neuroanatomy Review Book for the USMLE step 1.
Unlike the best comprehensive review books for USMLE Step 1, you can choose only one option here as it's unlikely you relied on more than one book in your preparation.
If you know of other books that are useful for Neuroanatomy preparation for the USMLE step 1 please post your reply and we'll add it to the poll options.

Default Clinical Neuroanatomy Made Rediculously Simple

This book as its name is making neuroanatomy a piece of cake
my colleagues at the college were all surprised that I was reading in this book but later on they all switched with me as they realized am the only one who really understood all those paths and tracks

Forget about high yield and get this

There's no high yield better than really understanding what's going on and so you can answer any question and often u'll enjoy answering "difficult" neuroanatomy questions

There's a book called Neuroanatomy through clinical cases
the latest edition is old in 2002
but this book is a great way of helping us, as in USMLE the neuroanatomy questions are invariably clinical cases
Please add to the poll

I don't understand why you are so concerned about neuroanatomy books
Kaplan is far enough
My friend read only kaplan and they all got over 85

We are concerned about the neuroanatomy books here because we don't want to stuck around 90 marks.

people do get 99. aren't they?

and it's a question about the lifetime opportunity.

the risks are not worth to be taken.

may be just for few marks, u cannot join the residency u wanted your whole life.
think about the dream of your parents.
think about their happy faces.

and above all, it's about your own life.

there is no harm reading a neuroanatomy book.

if u don't want, then don't read it.

but this poll is helping those who want to read the book.

and i really appreciate this poll.

Star Neuroanatomy Through Clinical Cases

I wish if you can add Neuroanatomy Through Clinical Cases Book by Hal Blumenfeld, This books is really amazing and it helped me understand and memorize the concepts of neurosciences and integrate them with real clinical life.
Most of the neuroanatomy books do not actually allow you to relate the dry basic information of tracts, pathways, and lobes into real clinical scenarios. This books does that.
Although, it's not meant to be a USMLE book and it's more of a textbook with over 1000 pages but believe me you'll go through this entertaining book in a very short time, you will never forget what the amygdala and the cerebellar vermis do after reading it. It's a good investment for your life-time knowledge.

Default neuroanatomy kaplan vs high yield!!

hi
If I read neuroanatomy from kaplan very well is it enough to get high score(95 and above) ?
cause high yield neuroanatomy seems to be large and has a lot of information than we need, is it true?

Hi!
High Yield Neuroanatomy is a review book I think. You can find it here: HY-Neuroanatomy

Which one has more information, HY or Neuroanatomy made ridiculously simple? Are they both made for the USMLE?

Thanks

Blumenfeld Neuroanatomy is amazing, it will make you a great neurologist if you read it once.
