Default Hi, sort of a beginner, sp needed

Cant pm because of 'new' status on the forum, pm me for contact details.

I have started FA + Goljan + UW a while back +/- Kaplan when needed as dictated by FA & UW.

My timings are flexible and I'm ok with either group study sessions or individual discussions after reviewing certain key topics.

Default Well, hello

Hello,

In a nutshell you need to get study materials, and it is often recommended a 4 months time stretch of non stop studying for step 1. Finally when you're ready people usually appear for NBME exams to assess their preparation. And last but not the least do not take too long to prepare or else you may start forgetting some of the old stuff.

For study material First Aid with Uworld is considered the bible for step 1. Additionally you can use kaplan to augment the material. For pathology its often said FA isnt enough and the few books widely used are Goljan, Pathoma, etc. A newer alternative to kaplan is Doctors in Training.

I believe there is a separate section for this discussion tho I'm not the best person to guide since I'm new here myself. Good luck and study hard!
