Heart Brain Natriuretic Peptide BNP

A new test being extremely useful in the diagnosis and monitoring of heart failure. It's over 95% sensitive in detecting decompensated heart failure.

It's released in response to cardiac myocytes stretch. Commercial lab kits are now widely available.
