Smile Causes of Secondary Amyloidosis

In some questions you will see a history of amyloidosis and according to this history you must diagnose another disease but what diseases cause amyloidosis?

Amyloidosis is a buzzword for the following:

1. Rheumatoid Arthritis
2. MM (multiple myeloma)
3. Bronchiectasis

chromosome 21 has the gene for the APP (amyloid precursor protein) and an extra chromosome seen in trisomy 21 down syndrome causes proportionate increase in synthesis and deposition of amyloid thus causing early (by age 40) alzheimer's disease.
Hope you got it now
