Question How to manage the USMLE Exam Blocks

Any suggestion? 8blocks 46 questions,right?

the step 2 ck has 46 question in each block,right? I got confused....

you can manage it in two ways according to how you deal with stress.


What I do is skip most of the breaks and take one long break in the middle. or maybe take a glucose snack if I am feeling glucose depleted.

However you should try to keep taking glucose snacks in between each block to boost up sugar levels during the exams. As I feel after a block or two it gets difficult to concentrate on the questions.

60 minute blocks 46 questions each

Total break time: 45 + 15 (tutorial time) 60 minutes. Break time means a lot so I would advise you to be familiar with the tutorial in advance and skip it on the main exam

There are 44 questions in one block for total 9 block, am I right ?

O read at the information booklet 2011 from usmle:
352 questions 8 blocks.
so 44 questions in each block

Oh the information booklet must have it right then, I was quoting first aid on this. probably havent updated it there.

yes over here it says the same

since wikipedia is updated daily it should be safe to say it is correct..

the exam is 9 hours
15 min tutor
45 min break
8 hours with 8 blocks each block has 44 q
iam sure about thats
