Unhappy Need more than help!

Hey guys, im new here. I never use any forums at all, but just failed Step 2 CK for the second time with 202. All my SA gave me scores between 220-225, but NBME 7 2 weeks before my test gave me a 200. I guess cause it was a new form that it would under predict my score, but it didn't. I don't know how to go about it. I will not give up, but i do need some help in how to study from now on, what to do and for how long. I used MTB 2 & 3, with Kaplan HY videos + UWORLD.
UWORLD first pass i got 65%, and second pass 73%.
Any suggestions would be really appreciated. A friend told me that the best thing i could do was go into a forum and get help and support from members that passed or even from ones that are just like me.
Thanks in advance.

I did them all online the first time, and then reviewed them offline. My exam was hard but i felt good, expecting a 220 or so...didn't struggle with time, but i did feel tired in the last 2 blocks.

How did you use your uworld qbank? subject wise or random... I suggest you do it subject wise so you are learning it better rather than jumping from one top to another.

I did it timed, random, unused.

U world is the best thing that could happen to you pretty much for this exam. My suggestion is go through the "notes" from u world thoroughly not the questions take it as a 2500 page notebook. To go over and do it thoroughly word for word. When u are done take UWSA that's the closest u will get. Also sitting for the test with a 200 on ur recent nbme was slightly dangerous so make sure u are consistent with scores on nbme's again UW UW UW UW UW UW

Do it subject wise, tutor mode... Read every single word of the explanation even if you get it right. Read all the incorrect answers too no matter how easy the question was. Highlight the information that is important because this is what you're going to be reading as a "review" later on.
Good luck. Chin up.

Default UW subject

1. I would agree that you need to do UW by subject, but I'd do under timed mode. This would help you finish UW in a timely manner (1 block = 1 hour; review each block = 4 hours). Assuming you can maintain this speed. This would take you one month.
2. Make sure you mark all the questions that are incorrect and the ones that you guess the answer (even if you could narrow it down to 2 answer choices) - again very important to mark them well
3. Study the explanation of the marked Qs
4. You may choose to ignore the ones you already know the answer (I did)
5. After you're done with UW, study your review book (2 weeks)
6. Do the marked Qs in timed, mixed. There is a trick to this. You need to creat new block of 44 marked Qs and suspend the block. Continue to create new blocks of marked Qs and suspend them until you get all the marked Qs out. Then begin doing each of your suspended blocks. (at least 2 blocks a day). Repeat steps 2 & 3.
7. Review book and notes in 3-5 days
8. NBME online. Depends on your goal, I'd expect you to be > 220.
9. UW marked Q (weak subjects) - Following step 6, 2, 3.
10. Review book & note in 2 days
11. NBME online (I did not do this since I got 267 on my first NBME 2 wks prior to exam)
12. UW marked Q timed, mixed.
13. You should be able to ace CK.

I got a 260 on my CK, and this was what I did (4 months of 2 hours/day, 1 full month of full-time 12-15hrs/day studying).
One final word: Accept the fact that we don't know everything about medicine, but take the opportunity to memorize anything we can
Good luck!
