Unhappy Need advice on how to start UW

Hello,

My question is, when is it reasonable to start UW after going through the study material? Is one good read enough or do i need to go over the material twice?
So far I went through all the material (Kaplan Lecture Notes + Videos) once, but honestly I feel like I dont remember anything and I want to take my exam within 2 months and a half.
So do you advise me to revise before I start my UW subscription?

Am starting to panic so plz give me ur suggestions

Do an NBME before you start so you can know how much you improved after UW,

Cool

Hi,

I know how are you feeling right now, because I was in the same boat as you. What I would do is start with a full reading of FA: begin with organ systems and finishing with Biochem, immune system and biostats. Those require more memorization than understanding. Once you're done, then start doing ONLY questions (1 week) so you can get some practice before doing an NBME. Why? Because you can't run before learning to walk. Be sure to review carefully the questions you got wrong, making annotations in FA. Try to save NBME's for last, because they are going to be important tools at the end of your training. Be positive, and think Big. Remember that fear is only an illusion.

I think you should start uworld because once you start doing it, you will know what kinda stuff they ask and you'll be able to stress more on that stuff. Revising again wouldnt be that productive. I started uworld after one reading of kaplan and mtb. I didn't score that great at the start but once you get used to the questions, you'll start doing better. And then revise side by side. Im currently done with like 50% of it. Good luck!
