Ok i know im not that well versed in my studies so i will go with whatever u guys say but according to my thinking this pt is splitting and she has suicidal tendancies . I feel that giving her my number wil be helpful in the context of her being able to contact me in case of feeling suicidal.

Please explain the answer in this context i know u cant date a pt so giving her ur number in the context of having a relationship with her is totally off limits but i want to know about the suicidal behavior.

I agree with you, espically in a patient with suicidal thoughts or ideations as u have to tell them that you are availabe for them anytime. Choice B even to a normal patient I dont think the phrase "this is never appropriate" a good choice, drs have always to be diplomatic for example in this case one might say let us please focus on the issue of ur sickness and be restrict but not offensive.
