ObGyn At 32 Weeks Gestation; best next step!

this is another Question from NMS Obs-Gyne

A 34-year-old woman, gravida 2, para 1, at 32 weeks' gestation, presents to your office for routine prenatal care. She delivered her daughter vaginally at 39 weeks without any complications. Her past medical history is unremarkable, and her current pregnancy has been uncomplicated other than occasional Braxton Hicks and increasing vaginal discharge that is nonpruritic, is the same color as her cervical mucus, and has been present during most of her pregnancy. Her BP is 108/73, her temperature is 96.8°F, her fundus measures at 33 weeks, she is 5 feet 4 inches tall, her prepregnancy weight was 120 lb, and she now weighs 135 lb. She is rubella nonimmune, hepatitis B surface antigen negative, O + / antibody -, Venereal Disease Research Laboratory nonreactive, and gonorrhea culture/chlamydia negative. What is the next best step in management?

A. Rubella antibody test
B. 50 g glucose tolerance test
C. 300 g anti-D immune globulin
D. Follow-up in 2 weeks
E. Counseling about appropriate weight gain

the answer was D but i think E because she is now 6.75 kg and she should be at least 8.75 kg ??

But she has 5 weeks to go! A normal weight woman should gain at least 20-30 lb in total pregnancy. And she will gain it within remaining 5 weeks
