Stethoscope 30 year old woman with asymptomatic diastolic murmur

A 30 y old women comes in for routine check up. She describes herself healthy and no previous medical examination. Patient has loud s1, grade 2/6 low pitched mid to late diastolic murmur best heard at the apex, next to murmur is loud extra sound. Which is the diagnosis and why?

Answer is mitral stenosis..characterized by opening snapjut prior to low pitched,rumbling diastolic murmur.

AR is characterized by high pitched diastolic murmur
MVP is characterized by midsystolic click with a late systolic murmue.
ASD is fixed s2 split
vsd is characterized by pansystolic with thrill at lower sternal left border.
