Syringe Contraindications for DTaP

uWorld says that having a seizure is a contraindication for the vaccine, is that true? isnt it just a precaution?

the seizure described in the question lasted for 2 min and happened within 3 days.

for any specific vaccine?...did seizure was from previous dose?

for most of vaccines severe allergic reaction is the contraindication ...for DTaP vaccination along with allergy, encephalopathy, prolong seizure of mostly previous dose is contraindication...and seizure for 3 days or more after receiving previous dose is a precaution

so if its only after from previous dose lasted briefly for 2 min..its precaution

if along with coma, loss of conciousness that too with in 7 days of administrating previous dose then its contraindication according to CDC

I think I know the question you’re referring. They describe that following DTaP the pt has a seizure. They talk about if a patient had a seizure to this vaccine then it is almost always due to the Pertussis component, thus the patient can get the Td only in the future.
According to the CDC contraindications to the DTap vaccien include severe anaphylaxis as well as severe encephalopathy (including seizures) within SEVEN days of the vaccine
