Default Changes in NBME scoring system??

Hi Guys

I would to share my experience about my NBMEs and if you have had similar results please share.

A month ago I did NBME 7 and got 450 (227) with 42 wrong questions, but today I did NBME 6 and despite getting only 31 questions wrong my score was 450 (227). Does this make sense?? An improvement of 11 questions and no change in the score!!!!

Are they changing the scoring system?

Not all questions have the same weight. Getting the same amount of questions right will not give you the same score in two different assessments.
