I disagree November test takers

My test is november the 1st/ I have done Kaplan lectures and books, MTB2 and MTB3 and videos of MTB2. Did Qbank and now doing Uworld for the second time. During this time my nbmes haven t been that good and I only have nmbe7 left which i think on taking it 2 weeks before the test.
My problems are, I get distracted during the questions, sometimes i get sleepy, making silly mistakes on reading, weak on obgyn.
Well, i am opening this thread so we can discuss for our upcoming test, support each other and help each other. So we can all pass!!!

Default test mid-oct

Hi, 'm taking the exam in mid-october, 'm taking liberty to join this brigade, I've taken uwsa and nbme 7 and scored in 230s only, was expecting better, had 74% total on UW(timed, random, first time). I want to touch 250+ (rather 280+), seriously, have done uw once and m revising, did mtb once and kaplan LN once, would try revising as much before the exam, I can't reschedule it further. Can anybody suggest how to increase the score in next 15-20 days. Also, my concern is regarding lots of dreadful threads saying its too tough and people failing wit such self assessment scores, what else can be done even if its tough? Would really need some good advice to boost my confidence please...thanks

yeah, I didnt do very well on step 1, so i want to do good on 2ck. Hoping to hit 250... lol!!! Now that i read about FA, i just did it once but i didnt found it that good like for step 1, so i never read it again... should i?
Really timing is not my issue comparing with step 1, and i am pretty sure that on the real day, it wont be a problem.
Does any of you guys have a tactic on how to handle the drugs ads questions? they are too long and just take too much time reading the whole study and stuff... And what about the questions where they put and long ass article and they ask 2 questions about it... (this is UW) anybody has a tactic?

doing FA for step 1 is a better idea! Just go through it once. Drug ads are basically so lame. I solve them at the very end. I usually get one out of two correct. There's not much we can do about them. Usually the uw ones have one basic biostats Q and one related to the abstract.

Well, i did MTB 2 and 3, but i like more FA CK format. I enjoy it more and understand it more...BUT i use it just to read topics that i miss on UW.
Also...i have failed 2 times...this is my first time using FA....so im not the best help in advising. I need some help myself. but i feel that my problem is more of test taking skills :S...and i don't know how to improve that at all :/

it is subjective,

but random & timed is always better in my opinion as all subjects keep fresh in your mind ,, unlike subject wise

try to solve online uw with timed but not random mode,do it subjectwise or topoicwise. The problem with ck study is not our's way of study but problem is with memorizing the things.2nd time try to solve it in random mode

Lets get this thread going again...where are the november test takers?? Lets talk about what we are doing and how we are doing in the SA and UW.

Im getting constant 80's on UW, planning on doing the UWSA next week. Im usually just doing 2 blocks of UW a day with explanations and reading a chapter of FA CK, and at night i read some tiki tala notes of the same subject.

How about you?
