Default Difference between Altrusum and UNdoing

What is the difference between Altrusum and Undoing A drug addict helps in anti drug campagn. What is it ? Altrusum or Undoing/ Please answer

Altruism means concern for others welfare.

Undoing means a person had done something wrong and now want to get rid of the guilt so he do something good.

For example; above one a person who was drug addict and now helps in antidrug campagin.
