Post Step 2CK Exam: know your management

Hi guys,

I just recently resat for step 2ck. I had heard that Step 2ck often focuses on diagnosis rather than management, and this was true the first time I sat for step 2ck.

However, this time when I sat for step 2ck at least 30% of the questions were on management, including pharmacotherapy. So I would advise everyone not to only focus on diagnosis.

And in both my experiences I have had questions about writing prescriptions, so do make sure you know what 'qh' 'qid' 'bds' and all that stands for.

Best of luck! Hopefully this time around I will pass, and so will everyone else!

I resat for my exam too. And I felt that the exam content is so different every time. We study hard but at the end it's pure luck and God's will. There's no set basic exam content....and that's scary😁 I'm expecting results today, let's see what happens!
