My preparation was 3 months. There are my reference as follows,
Kaplan Lecture notes, MTB, First Aid, For medicine: Harrison.

In addition, usmle-forums posts and highyield posts as I did not much time and was studying for Cs at the same time.

Daily 8 hours (except Sunday) for 2 months and 11 hours for last month.

Use Kaplan and U world three months.

UWSA: 220 not have time to do NBME (this is my mistake)

Rest for three days before exam. just searching at this forum. That help me alot.

On the exam day, I brought soy milk, ready made pudding, juice.
I did 4 blocks then rest for lunch .... 35 mins
after that continued 2 blocks and rest for 10 mins and did one block, on that block there was delay in going nest questions so I had time issues, when 5 mins alert I havent finished 7 questions so I had to rush. That made me panic. So rest 5 mins after that block. Finally done the last one and out from exam room.
I would suggest to spare at least 5 mins for break till the last one.
And also suggest to do UW twice at least. just for reference, and thinking process.
My mistake was I didn't do twice.
Thanks

UW average are not consistent.
As far as I remember, high as 79 and low as 55. As I mentioned I had not much time, so I studied subject by subject first and studied according to questions. like retrospective. Then I open kaplan notes again.
But I used it Q bank with time mode, tutor time mode.
My Kaplan also high as 67 % and low as 52 %. I did kaplan Q bank first before start of subject.

My subscription was expired. But u world can not downloaded to computer or print screen.

Well done! You've done it! Good luck with your scores.

One question if you don't mind-what's your feeling on number of questions in each specialty?

Thanks

HI. congrats and good luck for your scores!
I needed to ask you if the number of questions from each topic are proportionate to the weightage given in UWorld.
I have my exam in 3 weeks time and I am, well, grossly unprepared! So I could really use some tips on what's high yield.
Thanks.

Hi,
I just had pudding and soy milk for lunch. I would not recommend to take pain killer on exam day as concern for side effects. But I did bring liquid antacids just incase.

Thanks.
I could not able to compare the exam questions percentage with UW as pressured by time issue in exam.

I would suggest to do Q banks and sample questions before exam.

I would rather say no Q bank is similar to actual exam as exam is exam, but UW and Kaplan help us many ways in practicing and to get idea for thinking process. That is my impression, but I may be wrong. I am glad that I did UW and Kaplan before to go to exam.

hey chulady!
what about the psych questions? people say that there are many "weird" questions in the exam. is it true? I am really bad at psych. Are there many questions? is kaplan and uworld enough for them?
