Default Parvo virus B19

If a pregnant's son develops fifth disease,is her fetus at risk of hydrops fetalis, what should we do?should we seperate the child from the mother?

Its primarily transmitted through respiratory droplets to pregnant mothers. During the first trimester it can cause hydrops fetalis and spontaneous abortions...The hydrops develops because of anemia and the diagnosis is made thru ultrasounds and the treatment thru transfusions....As far as prophylaxis or prevention goes...I am not sure about the indications..IF you know plz share...
