Default Estrogen, Progestin, Cardiovasc. Risk

The combination pill (E and P) has an increased risk of heart attacks and stroke (increased blood clotting) where as the mini pill (progestin only) doesn't have any effects on thrombosis.

But when we look at Hormone therapy for post-menopausal women:
HT which is E and P causes an increased risk of heart attacks, whereas ET (estrogen only) doesn't.

Please explain why this is

increasing blood clotting will not affect the coronary heart disease , i guess , when they say blood clotting they mean in 1st place are the DVT and Pulmonary Embolism , venous thrombosis will not affect the coronary arteries since they arise from the aorta ,
so Estrogen increases the risk of DVT ,PE and Strokes but not the CHD
about why HT increases the risk of heart attack , i dont know
but seems to be from the affect of progesterone more than estrogen since progesterone has unhealthy lipid profile , increasing the LDL and decreasing the HDL
