Default some cancer stats

commonest cancers (2011):

men
1. prostate ca
2. lung ca
3. colorectal

women
1. breast ca
2. lung ca
3. colorectal ca

children
1. leukemia
2. brain n other CNS tumors


cancers with highest death rates:
men
1. lung ca
2. prostate ca
3. colorectal ca
women
1. lung ca
2. breast ca
3. colorectal ca
children
same as incidence i.e
1. leukemia
2. brain n other CNS tumors

common cancers that metastatsize to bone
1. breast (osteoblastic or sometimes lytic)
2. prostate (blastic)
3. lung
common cancers that metastasize to brain:
lung, breast, melanoma, kidney (not in order)

common cancers that metastasize to lung:
bladder, breast, colon, prostate (not in order)


these r da updated stats i came across during study,..do add to it if u have some additional n high yield info....

breast mets to bone, especially to vertebrae are mostly lytic and rarely blastic. I read it somewhere, don't remember.
Does anybody concur with me>?
