Why does hypochloremic, hypokalemic metabolic alkalosis take place in pyloric stenosis?

because in pyloric stenosis, the patient is vomiting >> losing stomach acids (HCL) >> so he will develop metabolic alkalosis & hypochloremia, & the hypokalemia because of the H/K exchange, the H will go out & K inside the cells as the body trying to correct the alkalosis state.
