If it says 7:30, then its better to be there at 7 as they advice applicants to be 30 mins earlier. The time mentioned is when the exam going to start, though there is some delays sometimes. Step 2 CK is 9 hours ( 8 hs + 1 h break), if u skip the tutorial part u will get an hour break that u can distribute as you wish.

Good Luck

7h30: Arrive to Prometric center
7h30 - 8h00: They check your permit, your ID, make a brief explanations of how the center works and assign a station for you.
8h00 - 8h10: You begin your exam, it doesn't matter if you begin a little late, the time starts to run once you press the "Start" button, so don't worry about that.

You will have 9 hours of exam, a orientation block (15 minutes), 8 blocks of questions (8 hours) and an extra block of feedback in the end (no time).
Since all of us are familiar with the FRED system, you could skip the orientation block and save 15 minutes for breaks. So you would have 1 hour for breaks.

If everything is going well, you will be finishing your exam around 5 pm.

Be sure to leave some break time for the last block, it could be the most difficult because you will get tired in the end.

Good luck.
