I was informed that you paid the appointment change fee to Prometric to reschedule your appointment for the above examination.

Prometric reinstated your eligibility record, and I updated your eligibility period in their system. You may now go online or call Prometric to schedule a new appointment in your extended eligibility period using the Scheduling Number from your Scheduling Permit.

Sincerely,
Rachael, on behalf of USMLE Registration

hi,
i have no experience in this matter, but i think if u were alloted a new scheduling permit no. then ull have to schedule a new appointment rather than rescheduling....
As u said that there mail said:
and i quote

' now u may go online or call prometric to schedule a new appointment'

so i think u will have to schedule a new appointment. but before doing anything wait for an experienced opinion...!! and best of luck
