Exam-Results August 24th, 2011; Step 2 CK Exam Results Thread
Hello everyone ,

Is there anyone waiting for their Ck scores to come back tomorrow Aug. the 24th ?

Am really anxious, Let's hope for the best

Question step 2 ck content description & general information
hi,
i wont to ask which this mean (i found it in step 2 ck content description & general information ) and how a question will come in this :
1- health & health maintenance
2- the difference between pharmacotherapy , and treatmeant .

i will be so happy if i someone answer me .

Default Didnt get my result today
I didn't get my result today.took exam on 2nd aug at NYC..is it just me or you guys also didn't get it?....plz reply I'm really worried...i thought I would be certified before sept 1...

yeah i received the new format unfortunately. im not sure now if i should apply to the programs on 1st sept or wait for the results...
any suggestions from the usmle forums staff or seniors would be appreciated

i just called the ecfmg and unfortunately they are saying result can not be available before 28th sept

Default delay in CK score for aug 2nd exam takers
To all my friends who took their Step 2 ck exam on 2nd Aug and had the new format:

I called up ECFMG regarding the results and was told we would have to wait till Sep 28th.
I was shatterd b'cos I had scheduled my exam for 2ng Aug after reading their news bulletin which clearly says:

New format introduction: ON OR AROUND AUG 3RD
Delay in score reporting: FROM AUG 3RD TO MID-SEPTEMBER.

I pointed this out to a the lady who spoke to me, All she had to say was that my result would be delayed, there was nothing that could be done.

I was hoping to have my result ready before starting to apply on Sep 1st, and this is a big blow on me...

Anybody on the same boat, please call up ECFMG, e-mail them, and please point out the fact that the announcement says that though changes can start anytime around 3rd august, the delay in reporting would be FROM 3rd Aug, according to them.

Further, they have made a new announcement saying ALL those who took their exams in new format will have a delay.

It is technically not possible to evaluate without performance data on the new format, but maybe they can count those new questions as dummy and evaluate our performance based on the rest of the exam.

It was not our fault we got the new format exam and it is unfair that we have to wait.

i know friends , that it is sad and really messes up the whole planning when such a delay happens or any such stuff . but just keep faith , do not lose hope and keep working on ur profile.

Wow, I am very sorry for you guys!!! I took my test on Aug 2 too, but in Germany and I didn't get any new questions and had my result on the 24th. I was so relieved to see that I didn't get the new format on the test day - this change really sucks (I had rescheduled my exam from 8/15 to 8/2 to avoid the result delay), best of luck to all of you!!

I am in the same boat, gave exam on 2nd thinking i will have results by 24th ...or atleast by 30th...how can they be so careless in giving such information..it was fine to have new questions as they mentioned at or Around 3rd, but they specifically said delay after 3rd august......i will call and email them tomm.

Fyi-i read in another forum that it may be out on 4th week , is it possible......also is there any probability tth our result might come on 6th or atlest anytime before 28th august?

hoping to get result asap.....

stupidity is tht for only 7 questions they r delaying reports....and for reason which they are delaying so called comparing...its not even fair, because we were caught unprepared for that type of question, where as people giving exam later have practiced them well........and anyway they put so many dummy questions why cant they score us without new questions....

may be i m just expecting too much

I traveled to US last week for match issue and put my plan as my report must be out by this time!! but unfortunately nothing out yet!!! they simply destroyed my whole plan!!
