Question Power outage during the exam!

hi,

can any1 tell what happens to the running block in case of an electricity breakdown at the prometric centre during exam?

is it automatically saved or lost or we have to redo it?? or worse, a new block is loaded in its place??
are there any chances that the block ends... n u cannot open it again with remaining questions marked notattempted??

Don't worry they have UPSs, your computer is not turned off & u can continue the test uninterruptedly. Atleast thats what happened during my step 1 exam.

Good Luck!!!

Had my step 1 exam at the same centre. Faced no problems regarding electricity. They have a mini-UPS attached to every computer. Unless the UPS malfunctions, u shud be fine.
