My exam's on the 29th. I've spent a total of 4 months studying.
  • MTB 2 for IM, kaplan for the rest ~1.5 months
  • First pass at UWorld, 64% ~1 month
  • Revised MTB and kaplan ~3 weeks
  • Gave UWSA 1 - 234
  • Revised MTB and kaplan once more ~1 week
  • Gave NBME 7 - 233
  • Second pass at UWorld (83%), up until the day before my exam
  • Watch Rambo: First Blood and CTFO

As for the NBMEs, the consensus seems to be that NBME 4 and UWSA 1 are the most accurate, and NBME 7 under-predicts.

Good luck, man. We're gonna kill it.

I don't know, I'm not sure how the exam was!!
after exam I wasn't exhausted like step 1, i managed my time better than step 1, because of step 1 experience!
step 1 I got 244, day before 2 ck I got 267 on uw simulated exam, and 252 on nbme 7, 5 wks before exam.

I don't know my score yet, that's why I can't say how my resources were!!
as soon as I get my score I ll let you know.
but compare to what I studied the real exam from my point of view focused on unimportant details that while I was studying I didn't pay attention to them, and also my resources didn't cover it too!
also I felt choices are somehow obscure, and two of them could be the answer!!
I used: kaplan qbank and I didn't like it
u world as always was good
kaplan online lectures
MTD (lecture)

Default Hey geesa !

Thank you for your feedback. Please share your experience in detail once you get your scores.
I am thinking to start with kaplan notes, then MTB 2 for IM and 3 for rest as all say. Then UW. That's the plan so far.

In my opinion use UW at the beginning, it's a good reference (even better than Kaplan notes!), don't look at it as test for assessment, and try to read and learn all the explanation for each test.
good luck.
