Default Which Part of Behavioral Sciences Book for the CK?

Hello everyone, I have read from a few suggestions here that for the USMLE step 2 ck, psychiatry should be read from the kaplan lecture notes for the CK, but for the epidemiology and ethics, it seems some are recommending to read it from the behavioral sciences book for step 1. I have already taken Step 1 and was wondering what specific chapters should be done for the epidemiology and ethics sections from the behavioral sciences book?Should i just read the epidemiology, biostatistics, and ethical and legal issues chapters which would be a toltal of around 55 pages (compared to about 100 in the epidemiology and ethics book for the CK) or must I read all the other chapters as well? I have already completed the pshyciatry section from the step 2 ck lecture notes.

Any assistance on this matter would be greatly appreciated

Regards

Epidemio, biostats and ethics are almost the same in both books, so you can go with the step 1 book. I checked word by word, just a couple graphs, tables, and definitions are added in the step 2 book. You can have a glance at the step 2 book after you study the chapters you mentioned from step 1 book, and review and mark the added material in the step 2 book, which will not take more than half an hour.

Thank you for your reply. It seems I'll take a look at those 3 chapters in behavioral sciences and thn have a quick look through the ck book to see if I' missing anything, maybe do Conrad's ethics book if i find the time. Thanks again.
