i think you should give 1 month kaplan q bank along with review to kaplan books and mtb ,,, and give 2 months to UW ,,,, it's very important to do UW twice and before you exam by like 1 month try to do NBME and see where you're standing , se where you're weak and fix it by reviewing the weak parts again , then do NBME AGAIN 15 Day before you exam ,,, that's my opinion and good luck

I agree with 2 month for usmle world and one month for kaplan qbank . but since most reviewer of the banks said that q quality of kaplan not good as usmle world but they benefit form the length of question in time management so if I in your shoes I start with usmle world for two month and then do kaplan for last month
another factor in last month most likely you will be tired and usmle world need more concentration in study
this is my 2 cent
all the best

Hello there.

At this moment, FORGET the videos, they are a waste of time for the information that you can get from them.

The key of studying with qbanks, is that you must review the questions with all the explanation. In that moment is when you learn the material. In the beginning it takes 2 or 3 days to complete one block!! Why? Because you have to review the subjects related to the questions and when you do it, you integrate all that knowledge in your brain, after a few days your speed will increase and you will be able to do one block per day or two blocks per day.

You have 3 months. You can get a 3 months subscription of UW and do all the questions you can in the first month, after that, if you have kaplan, do it, using the same method in the second month, and in the last month, finish UW, if you have time review UW again. It is important that you finish UW.

I would like to help you about the dates, but it depends of the schedule of prometric and where you are going to take the exam.

Good luck!

I think u should start with uworld soon, as it will take time to go through all the questions n as many ppl have already mentioned it will require 2 readings and one reading will require more than a month esp. if u r making notes.
Start ur 2nd reading with the qbank simultaneously so that u can correlate them like doing a block from resp. n reading resp. section from med.

hey Sadalssud
can u please help me out what should i do next. I m doing uworld for second time, finished 44% of uworld(medicine) with 72% on average, when i did uworld for the 1st time, it was 61%, still i can't do more than a block/day and now at this point I m making notes n it takes too much time for me and i m a person who can't study more than 4 days /week, my eligiblity pd is oct-dec, I want to finish my exm by the end of nov..meanwhile I don't want to screw up my exam, I m willing to work hard for few months if required as I think for last few mnths I didn't study to my fullest so now I m confused what should i do next. should i do nbme now or wait to end my uworld to get over? also i was doing my 2nd reading of books which i left 2-3 weeks back as my uworld is going to expire soon in oct 14 so I was giving it more time. I haven't take any nbmes/test.
I have to revise my mtb-ck n do 1 more reading of lecture notes n i m kinda slow.
anyone else too can add on please::sorry:
