Default Recent Step 2CK experience

Hi guys Today I recieved my CK score, 250 and decided to write about my experience. Well, I used Kaplan review books ( not MTBs, just review books) and also UW qbank ( once, did not have time to finish peds, did only 80 percents overall, 82% average). It took 5 months to prepare for this exam. I did UW self assesment, it was 272, though I did not feel like I am prepared well enough ( everything was really blurry in my mind all the time). Just before my test all the testing centers closed due to weather and the only day they were open was my testing day. I hoped they will reschedule it for free, but snow just melted overnight and the testing center opened and I had to go and write CK. I was never this nervous before a test (Scored 250 on step1) and during the test I felt like I am failing. I was underprepared, I run out of time, I felt like crying. During the test I wanted to take breaks but did not have time to do it, and I was exhausted by the end of it. Seriously, my last signature on prometric blank looked like I am having a stroke I had tons of peds, gyn and psych and I felt like I am guessing all the time. I was actually guessing on 20-30 questions, I mean literally guessing, cause I had NO IDEA how to answer, and had questions with 8 answers and was guessing badly ( not educated type of guessing like I did during step 1). After the test, I came out, sat into my car and stared for like 10 minutes. Then went home and tried to decide on my future career. Probably not in the US.

So guys, the main idea is, even if you feel like you failed, failed badly, if your step 1 and self assessments were good, if your preparation was just okay, you will get something high enough to get into that residency Good luck to everybody! Hopefully this helped someone not to torture himself for 3+ weeks

Thank you so much for this feedback. Yes, I forgot and mixed it up, 272 was NBME, and uwsa was 262. But I figured out that my score is really good, if you guys react this way. But aggressive forum btw, I remember I wrote about step1 experience and still was criticized by a bunch of people ( was thanked though, too). But don't focus on my score, I just wanted to tell that even if ck feels crappy, it comes back positive :-P
