Medicolegal and Ethics Parents refusing Cancer treatment

I don't know the answer just asking as I can't remember.

Can a parent deny treatment of cancer for the child?
Ex child ALL need tx parent says no , you discuss it and everything but they still say no. what do u do?

1) comply with their wishes
2) get a court order as they are endangering the child

there were more option but its one of these 2 my problem is I'm leaning both ways
normally parents have the right to choose tx for a child. IF a life threatening situation and they refuse then its not acceptable as they are endangering the child so you still treat child.

But this a cancer scenario which there isn't a full 100% cure so can they deny treatment??

may be they can go for a court order as it isnt life threatening presently...bt incase of life threatening bleeding or infections prompt treatment should b initiated against parents advice.............

COURT offcourse.
*if parent say no to vacccine, then do nothing because it is not life threatening.
but denying cancer therapy is really life threating though not emergent .

yeah i say go for a court order too. parents cant deny life saving treatment for their child due to their beliefs. unless they wanted to deny their child of vaccination then that's ok.
