Arrow Finally starting my CK prep today....

Hi everyone....after taking a longgggggggg break of 20 days after step 1 planning to start my CK prep today :sorry:.....after a very thorough investigation and pestering everyone on their advice I came up with the following time table......

Total Prep time:4 months

Material: KLN + Videos + MTB2 with FA in case time permits which i am sure is mostly not possible

Qbanks: Uworld (sure after 1st reading of KLN + videos and along with MTB2) Kaplan CK Qbook, and Kaplan CK Qbank if possible...not sure if its possible though

-->Planning to give the 1st reading in 1.5 months
-->do an NBME or UWSA after completing uworld (this was what I did for step 1)

No. of hours of study per day:at least 10 hours of serious study
(with a few days off in between coz i would b busy the whole of December due to personal reasons)

-->annotate all uworld points in MTB 2 if possible some points from KLN too....

This is my final prep plan....any suggestions are welcome.....I hope its helpful to many who r starting their prep along with me....

Last but not the least a PRAYER everyday.....as it is all going to be in GOD's hands finally....

i dont think CK has got more stuff to memorize. i remember memorizing sooooo much for step 1 but not for step 2ck. its more of understanding and using what can be said logic. or rather what we come across daily. like best management or best treatment, or best advice. or if the ptt has all these symptoms, what can be the complications. CK is more fun cos its more real.

i think ur four month plan is awesome. i wish i had 10hrs of study time per day. i have internship so ill be lucky to even score 6 hrs of study time each day.

good luck!

yeah for step 1 i dedicated the whole day to prep bt not with full conc....so hoping for a 10 hr conc study now coz of less time (4mnths)as i took more than 6 mnths for step 1........

the questions r more logical but i just started reading KLN so felt it was king of memorising with all those etiologies which do not mostly turn up in question form....
