so it is either gonadotropins dependent or independent :

-Dependent gonadotropins : next step is to order an MRI :
if it is abnormal(e.g. hydrocephalus, Von Recklinghausen, meningitis , sarcoid and encephalitis ) (normally the age of the pt. is <6)
Mgx is directed at the specific etiology

if the MRI is normal your diagnosis is Idiopathic precocious puberty
Mgx is to give Gnrh agonist suppression until reaching skeletal maturity because you worry about stopping of maturity and height.

-Independent of gonadotropins : next step is pelvic exam or pelvic imaging :

a mass on pelvic exam or pelvic imaging will give the diagnosis of Granulosa Cell Ovarian Tumor.
Mgx is surgical removal.

negative exam/imaging and the presence of cafe au lait skin lesions will give a diagnose of McCune Albright Syndrome
Mgx is administration of an aromatase enzyme inhibitor .

just studied this yesterday lol hope it is helpful for you.
Best Regards
