Default predisposing factors for endocarditis

Hi all:

Is cardiac cathter a risk factor for endocarditis or not?

Dr. Fisher said it is not in his video, but in the lecture notes it is one of the predisposing factors.

So it is risk factor or not?

Cardiac catheterIzation per se is definitely a risk for endocarditis but i think what is more important for exam is prophylaxis of endocarditis which is not needed in patient without cardiac anatomical abnormalities who in the past had undergo cardiac catheterization.

Default therapy of specific micororganisms

Hi thank you for your reply:

I have another question, for the exam, do we have to remember the entire table I-7-8 in the kaplan lecture notes?
