Default CK help

Hey everyone,

I despiratly need your help. So I have been prepping for my CK exam since Nov 2014. I am almost done second round of UW. I have taken all my NBMES and have not passed either. Recent one I took was today NBME 7 with a 196 (3 digit step 2 score). I honestly don't know what to do. I tired the 150 USMLE free questions on the site and my average was 80% and that was last week. I found that to be alot easier then the NBMES.

Can anyone please guide me on what steps I should take to get better?
Any help would be appreciated. I don't know if I should rely on these NBMEs or do my UW assessment and take it from there? Please help.

Same situation here. Took nbme 4 and didn't pass (198). My friend who passed ck told me to ignore nbme and only do uwsa...I whish I would have listened to her...I'm going to take uwsa and disregard nbme. Exam in 15 days...

Thats the feedback Im getting too. My friends ahead of me are telling me to forget about the NBMEs as it doesnt represent the actual exam at all... the exam is alot easier... closer to the 150 which is honestly douable (my average was 80%). So I'm following the same plan as you... giving the UW assessment Sat and aiming to give the exam the following week.

Good Luck!!
ps thanks for the reply

man its good to see someone out here having the same problems as i do, compared to problems like im only getting 230's and not 250's.

anyway i plan to take the exam in 3rd week of May(more or less a month from now) but have been failing my NBME's miserably.Uworld 2nd round seems to be going okay(60,70's) i guess.

I'm not really sure if its a Concept thing or a Memory thing at this point, but either way i know its not enough to pass the exam.

But good luck to the both of you'll and i hope we all break through the barrier soon enough and get our desired scores.
