Hi don't be offended that people didn't respond because you I looks confusing if you are talking about step 1 or 2CK, posting in step 1 forum and saying you are doing mTB2 and 3, no matter what the case is revise your review book, go through your wrong uworld questions, take another NBME, if the score isn't up to your target, postpone the exam and device a new schedule

Self-loathing and self pity aren't helpful, and neither is lamenting about how many views vs replies a post gets. Is it possible that people read the post and simply don't know how or what to tell you? And even if they do know, no one is obligated to provide you with help just because you posted and asked for it, so guilting them to reply isn't the answer either. It just makes you seem very entitled. I usually never reply to those posts.

Since I've already started replying to this one though, here's some actual help too:

1. Review the answers to your NBME- analyze what you did wrong. Did you make simple mistakes? Did you over-analyze the questions or misread things? How was your time management?

2. Review the correct answers and explanations that are posted. Are there gaps in your knowledge or did you not analyze the stem properly, in other words did you get fooled by the distractors or did you genuinely not know a topic?

3. Did you get the expanded feedback on form 7? I don't think they have it for form 3, but it's worth it to know what you missed. When is your test date? You should take all of the NBMEs if you can- the questions have always been said to repeat (although once you have done all nbmes you've also covered nearly the whole course, so, of course something has to repeat, but still...)

4. It happens. Lots of people do really bad on nbme 3 and 7. Forms 4 and 6 are generally easier for most people. And remember that this is a scaled score. So you could get the same number of questions right on form 3 and on form 7 but your scores could be completely different because maybe on form 7 you missed an easy biostats question. This test only has 4 blocks and the real one has double. The test scaling has to account for this somehow, so if you missed 1 easy biostats question, it assumes that you will miss 1-2 more easy biostats plus it also assumes you'll certainly miss the difficult biostats questions as well. So for your 1 question wrong on that test, it can easily count it as you missing 5, when in reality you might miss the 1 easy question by mistake, but get the other 4 correct. So don't take the NBME score too heavily, but keep reviewing and make sure to figure out what you did wrong. Revise your weakest subjects first. This year's test has more biostats than before as is written on the USMLE website.

5. Have you done the 120 or 150 sample questions on the USMLE website? That's good practice too- highly recommend you do those.

6. What's your UWorld percentage like? Anything below 70 and it's risky for you to take the test. Delay the test if you can. Anyone who can afford to register can afford to delay.
