Default School transfer

Guys i really need your advice!! I'm IMG, US permanent resident and a Caribbean medical student. I had to withdraw out of my first medical school due to financial reasons. Had to transfer to another Caribbean medical school, which is not approved for NY, California, Texas and Florida residency. I took my step 1 exam and scored a 245. I was thinking about transferring to more recognized Caribbean medical school which is approved in all states. They would offer better clinical rotations. More residency spots to apply at. Do you recommend this? This would be my third medical school and i do have some gaps on my CV. What would you guys recommend????

Well, you're screwed if you do. Why would you not transfer to a normal school in the first place? Something seems fishy with your story. You must have failed out.

I would say stick to same medical school, unless it is Ross or some other big carribean medical school.

and try to get scores above 260

I didn't fail or anything. My school wasn't allowing me to take some extra time to take my Step 1 exam so i decided to transfer out. I believe i have a good shot at getting accepted into Ross medical school. Do you think this transfer would be worth it?

Thanks
