Default Where to start

Hi
I took STEP 1 3 months ago and got a 251.
I plan to take STEP 2 CK in 2 months and aim for a 260+.
I took a baseline NBME (#3) yesterday and got a 570 (252).
How accurate is this? Is this a good sign for a start?
Please find attached my detailed score report.
I think I'll focus on weak topics by reading some chapters in Kaplan and then I'll rock Uworld.
What do you think?

wow you are on the right track. You are pretty much ready for the exam, just go take it and you will ROCK it still. 2 months is too long if your baseline NBME is already a 252. Some people study a whole year and still can't get a score that high on NBME. Great job....so what is your secret or are u you just a genius? haha

Lol, is this a joke Knifehappy says it's very good and yes it's amazing! I would not take 2 months and take sooner. Maybe 1 round of UW and another NBME in the half way period. Focus a little extra on your lower bar areas like OBGYN, Pediatrics, Psych when you do UW.

This is your baseline score? What kind of background training and clinical studying did you do before? I know you said you did step 1 with a very good score.

Did you do any clinical subject practice mcq's for medicine, pediatrics, surgery, obgyn, psychiatry? Did you do UW for CK before?

Still very impressive. I hope you give more details on your current education or training background because throwing such a high score at us and saying that's your baseline is not how the majority here are doing and maybe it will help others I think to answer your question, is when doing UW, to focus extra time on the lower bar graphs areas of your assessment. Maybe others will give different input but I am sure you will do very fine if you take it in less than 2 months.

Hey again,
Well I am an IMG and still haven't touched any STEP 2 CK resource.
Nevertheless, during our med 1 to med 4 years (I am in med 4, final year), we acquire a lot of clinical knowledge and I've just taken my final year big 6-hr exam after a 2 months preparation (after STEP 1) so that's surely helping. Plus I am ranked first in a class of 86 and my strongest sections in STEP 1 were always pharm and pathology so that's all helping.
Does NBME 3 generally underpredict? Can I envisage a 260-265 easily?
Thank you

Take UWSA 1 and 2 they are real predictors of score not NBME's excpet NBME 7 perhaps.
