Kids Delayed umbilical cord separation

Hi all:

In Kaplan pediatrics lecture note and video, it says that " suspect chronic granulomatous disease( CGD)" in a newborn with prolonged detachment of the umbilical cord. But isn't it associated with leukocyte adhesion deficiency( LAD)?

Why Kaplan said CGD instead of LAD?

Thank you!

It should be LAD. Even my 4th yr med school book (Ghai) says the same.
