Default when to write step 2 ck

hi . i know this question is too forward and awkward but plz help me out
what is the gap required to write step ck after step 1 ? after what period should i apply for step ck can it be done immediatly after step 1
can we write it simultaneously like with in the same eligibility period by applying at the same time or something
kindly clear my doubts

Depends on how good you are with your Clinical subjects?

If you have Clinical experience and are already a graduate, give it within few months from Step1. You would do better with basics all refreshed to enforce on your clinical concepts.

Those who already have given MRCP or other clinical exams,
they could be the best prepared, give it in a month or so after intensive practice for USMLE type questions.

As for getting the exam date.. you have no restrictions.
You can take both your Step1 and Step2 within a weeks gap too.
Or give Step2 before Step1.

Only for Step3 you need to have cleared both Step1,2CK&CS
