Default Are the newest Kaplan LN for Step 2 worth the investment?

Hey there- I am about to start preparing for Step 2 CK. I plan on purchasing Kaplan Lecture Notes. My question is should I invest in the 2010-2011 edition or is an older edition just as good? I am planning on buying 2008-2009 edition (much cheaper) I purchased the newest edition for my Step 1 exam and they were the exact same as the older ones. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, the 2010-2011 edition is out. You can find it on either eBay or Amazon.

Warning!

hi
there are only minor changes in the latest edition some new drugs etc ive just started to prepare for step 2 and so had bought them during the last month of step 1 prep this month begining. so they have arrived on time but ive downloaded version of 2009-10 on the ipad which is better to study as can carry around not so bulky and all together they are only a few mb- less than 500. i think i wasted 500 dollars but anyways letting you know so you don't do the same mistake.
also one more very important thing. ive always noticed that the best scoring people almost always have used second hand or old editions. either they are confident or the older editions are better i dont know.

Hi- thank you for your response. I went ahead and purchased the 2009 version only because I don't think it would make much of a difference. I paid good money to purchase the newest Step 1 LN's but they turned out to be the exact same as the 2007 ones. The new version for Step 2 is too pricey for me to afford and I was able to get the 09' ones for half the price.
